          Hot boiled peanuts at a roadside stand
          AC nipping at your nose
          Yule get tired of carols being sung about
          Fireplaces, cold weather and snow
          Everybody knows some rum spiked in a glass of tea
          Help to make the season bright
          Tiny tots peering out through shades
          They got the south Florida look down just right.
          They know that Santa's real name is Jay
          And he works at Tyrone Mall during the day
          And every mother's child is gonna cry
          If he or she doesn't get a Furby toy
          And so I'm offering you this simple phrase
          For kids who elsewhere might romp
          Things are just swell here in sunny F-L
          Merry Christmas from the swamp!
