ANNOTATION


               This book examines the nature of prayer, the ministry of the
          Holy Spirit, and the application of prayer to the Christian life.
          It is not a "how-to" book nor a daily devotional guide but rather
          a careful Biblical examination of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit
          and prayer itself.  The reading  of the book will change the  way
          Christians pray and will result in answered prayer as we learn to
          pray in the Spirit.
               Mr. Scovell  lives in  Denver, Colorado  with  his wife  and
          three children.  His hobbies are ham radio and the computer.
